Project TSAP-15(177) would construct acceleration and deceleration lanes in front of the Pierce County Elementary School on SR 15/SR 121. The proposed project would begin approximately .08 kilometer (.05 mile) north of the Pierce County Elementary School entrance then continue southerly to an end point at approximately .49 kilometer (.31 mile) along SR 15/SR 121. The existing right-of-way on SR 15/SR 121 is approximately 30.4 meters (100 feet). All project construction will be restricted to within the existing right-of-way on SR 15/SR 121. An archaeological survey consistent with the project description was conducted for the entire length of the project corridor.
