The proposed project would construct intersection improvements at the intersection of Warsaw Road and SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road (see Figure 1). The improvements would consist of shortening the existing medians on SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road at the intersection to improve turning operations, and the extension of the existing left-tum lane from westbound SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road onto Warsaw Road. The SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road median would be reduced by approximately 20 feet on the northwest side of the intersection and by 40 feet on the southeast side. The existing 400-foot left-tum lane would be extended 240 feet to provide additional storage at the intersection. The proposed project would be constructed within the existing right-of-way ROW).
