Abstract

The project involves a mitigation parcel, which is approximately 7 acres, and located along Technology Parkway in Floyd County. Activities on this parcel will include prescribed burning as well as the establishment of firebreaks, since there are none currently existing. The proposed firebreak will be a perimeter firebreak, situated along the parcel boundary, and planned to be 6-8 feet wide.
