The proposed project consists of the widening of SR 120 (Abbotts Bridge Road) a total of 12 feet on the west approach to SR 141 (Medlock Bridge Road) for a distance of approximately 850 feet. This will accommodate two left tum lanes onto Medlock Bridge Road. SR 141 will also be widened a total of 21 feet on the north side of the intersection for a distance of approximately 600 feet to accommodate an additional left tum Jane from Medlock Bridge Road onto Abbotts Bridge Road. The project will include signal phasing and upgrading pedestrian facilities. This project was originally surveyed on January 25, 2005 by Luke Erickson. Since that time the project has been lengthened by approximately 600 feet along the east approach of SR 141 and by 350 feet along the north approach of SR 120. The southern approach along SR 120 has been shortened by approximately 300 feet. Existing right-of-way is approximately 80 feet with an additional 5 to 30 feet of right-of-way and easements required.
