Abstract

This report describes the previous historical and archaeological research at the Middle Place (9CH158) site on Ossabaw Island. Information collected within this report includes data concerning the prehistoric and historic components of the site, a summary of available archaeological and historical data (reports, maps, etc.), a synthetic look at the previous research questions and finally, a list and consideration of future research questions and work for the site. This summary and synthesis will provide future researchers a synthetic and all-encompassing document with which to base future research.
