Abstract

The proposed project would consist of the construction of a 10-foot multiuse trail along Redwine Road in two locations (see Figure 1. Project Location Map). The first location would consist of trail construction on both sides of Redwine Road between Birkdale Drive and Newhaven Drive. The second location would consist of trail construction on the east side of Redwine Road between Preserve Place and Foreston Place. There are existing trails at two locations: the west side of RedWine Road between Preserve Place and Foreston Place and the west side of Redwine Road between Newhaven Road and Old Ivy Road. The proposed multiuse trail would extend an existing multiuse trail located between Preserve Place and Newhaven Drive. The existing right-of-way (ROW) along Redwine Road varies between 80 feet and 90 feet, and the proposed ROW would vary between 80 feet and 150 feet.

The southern end (between Preserve Place and Foreston Place) was previously surveyed by Pietak (2010). The present survey addresses only the northern portion of the project area (between Newhaven Drive and Birkdale Drive).
