This report documents that Georgia Transmission Corporation’s Danville-North Dudley Transmission Line project will not have an adverse effect on historic resources. The Transmission Line begins at the existing Danville Substation located on Cool Springs Road in Twiggs County, Georgia and will be routed in a generally southeastern direction, primarily along Highway 80, Bender Road, and Wayne Road to the existing North Dudley Substation located on Highway 80 just east of the town of Dudley in Laurens County, Georgia. Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC) planners utilized the Danville-North Dudley Transmission Line Historic Resources Survey Report dated April 7, 2014 to route a line so as to avoid adverse effects on historic resources.
