The project would consist of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements along 10.7 miles of roadway in the City of Dunwoody. The project would include improvements along I-285, Dunwoody Park Mount Vernon Road, Chamblee Dunwoody Road, North Shallowford Road, North Peachtree Road, and Tilly Mill Road (see Figure 1. Project Location Map). The project would include the installation of new fiber-optic cable and conduit via directional boring, as well as the placement of new cables in existing conduit. The project would install new pullboxes and cabinets, as well as install new equipment in existing pullboxes, cabinets, and manholes. New CCTV equipment would be installed on existing poles. The specific locations of various project activities are provided in Table 1. All work would occur within the existing right-of-way (ROW) and no easements would be required.
