This letter is to inform you that the proposed project area for construction at the Southeast Fish Control Laboratory has been checked by this office to determine whether or not it intruded on an archaeological site. An on-site inspection of the surface of the area indicates that there is no archaeological site in the project area. However, if during the construction of the project something of an archaeological nature should be encountered, I would very much appreciate having it called to my attention so that we might make an effort to salvage any data that might be present.
