Abstract

The Historic Preservation Division (HPD) has received the research design carried out as part of the Programmatic Agreement (PA) stipulations for the above referenced project. Our review of this information is in accordance with the ratified PA for this undertaking, signed in 1995.

In our opinion, the Research Design/or Archeological Investigations of the Slave Cabins at Rayfield Plantation, Cumberland Island National Seashore, Georgia, January 2006, by the Southeast Archeological Center, National Park Service, contains adequate measures to address the research questions proposed.
