The proposed project would consist of maintenance activities along a 2.63 mile section of US 1/SR 4 Business from SR 4 (MP 10.40) to SR 4 (MP 12.63) through Louisville in Jefferson County, Georgia. The proposed activities include milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, and shoulder filling. The project also includes the installation of ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps requiring curb cuts at select locations along the project corridor. All proposed work would take place within the existing right-of-way, within five feet of the existing edge of pavement. Curb cuts will be required at the following locations and their intersection with US 1/SR 4 Business.
