Abstract

The proposed second addendum, to the project would provide a 1 0-foot multi-use path for bicycle and pedestrian accommodations along the south side of Beaver Ruin Road (State Route [SR] 378) for approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection of Beaver Ruin Road (SR 378) and Price Place to the intersection of Beaver Ruin Road (SR 378) and Indian Trail Lilburn Road in the City of Norcross in Gwinnett County. There is currently a 5-feet wide sidewalk along the south side of Beaver Ruin Road (SR 378) that would either be supplemented by an additional 5-foot of sidewalk area or replaced entirely with a 1 0-foot wide path. Other improvements include new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps and pedestrian signal heads along with the restriping of crosswalks in some locations. Existing right-of-way (ROW) along the corridor varies from approximately 80 feet to 140 feet. Approximately .8 acre of ROW and 2.7 acres of permanent easement are required to construct the proposed project along with various temporary easements.
