Abstract

There have been minor changes in the amount of ROW and permanent easement required for the proposed project. These changes have occurred due to more detailed project engineering and as a result of ROW negotiations. There have been no major design changes or any changes in temporary easements for the proposed project.

At the time of the approved July 2012 Environmental Re-evaluation, approximately 1.45 acres of additional ROW and 1.98 acres of permanent easements were anticipated to be needed for the project. Since approval of that Environmental Re-evaluation, it has been determined that

approximately 1.43 acres of additional ROW and approximately 2.29 acres of permanent easements are required, a decrease of approximately .02 acre of ROW and an increase of approximately .31 acre of permanent easement. The total combined acreage of areas not surveyed during previous archaeological surveys that constitutes the APE for the 20 16 Third

Addendum Phase I survey is .38 acres. These increases in permanent easement are for the construction and maintenance of slopes and drainages along Hatcher Point Road, and are associated with area business driveways off of Hatcher Point Road into the local J.C. Penney department store, Shoppes at Hatcher Way, and other local businesses north of the intersection of Hatcher Point Road and Division Street.
