Archaeological Assessment of Projects IM-OOMS(470) and IM-OOMS(325), Banks, Franklin, and Hart Counties; Interstate ramp rehabilitation and intersection improvements for seven intersections on 1-85 and the northbound truck weigh station on I-85 (accel/decel lane improvements). Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Authority (FHWA), the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the NHRP.
