Archeological Assessment of a Berrien/Cook Counties Roadway Improvement Project. This project is located on SR 76, beginning at MP 10.30 in Cook County and ending at MP 4.82 in Berrien County. This project proposes to construct and pave 2' of the existing shoulders, left and right, along SR 76. This will be followed up by the resurfacing of SR 76 and the reconstruction of earth shoulders, a maximum of 4' from the edge of new pavement, to provide a smooth grade transition. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way will be required. Total project length is 10.70 miles.
