Abstract

Project BRS-1077 (2) Monroe County consists of the replacement of the existing bridge and approaches over Tobesofkee Creek on Old Zebulon Road. The new structure will be located in approximately the same location as the existing bridge. The activity will consist of placing approximately 12,000 cubic yards of fill material below the 100 year flood elevation to construct the approaches to a new bridge (30' x 160') replacing an old bridge over Tobesofkee Creek crossing Old Zebulon Road southwest of Bolingbroke, Monroe County, Georgia. The fill material will be obtained from highland sources within the vicinity of the project. The fill will cover 0.82 acre. Erosion control will include grassing and stone rip rap for bridge end rolls. The existing bridge will be removed.
