Abstract

Archaeological Assessment of a District 5 Maintenance Improvement Project The proposed project would consist of milling, resurfacing, striping, and shoulder rehabilitation on SR 27 in Appling County, Georgia. The proposed project on SR 27 would begin approximately 37 feet west of Cleland Lane (MP 8.60) then continue southeasterly to an end point approximately 0.22 mile east of Alpine Road (MP 12.24). All work will be restricted to within the SR 27 existing right-of-way; no required right-of-way or easements will be needed for project implementation.
