Archeological Assessment of a Bartow County Resurfacing Project. This proposed project consists of the resurfacing of SR 61 beginning at Plymouth Drive and ending at SR 293. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 1.027 miles.
In compliance with Section I 06 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project CSSTP-M003-00(355), Bartow County, Georgia, has been surveyed with respect to archeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify, and evaluate the significance of any archeological resources within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect.
