Archaeological Assessment of Project STP-MOO 1-00(670), Grady County, paving four feet of existing shoulder on each side of US 84/SR 38, as well as leveling and resurfacing a portion US 84/SR 38 in Grady County, Georgia. The proposed project would begin at the Grady/Decatur County line and end I SO feet east of Airport Road in Grady County. The entire length of the project is JJ .30 miles. No additional right-of-way will be required. Pursuant to the February 2000 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Highway Authority (FHW A), the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Natural Resources (SHPO), and the Georgia Department of Transportation, this project is considered an undertaking as defined in 36 CFR 800.16(y), however, it has been determined there is no potential to affect historic properties included in or considered eligible for inclusion in the NRHP.
