CSSTP-M003-00(324), P.l. M003324 Decatur County Resurfacing Project
The proposed project is a maintenance project that would mill and resurface existing pavement, install rumble strips and construct 2 foot paved shoulders on SR 1 BU in Decatur County from 65 ft +/- North of intersection with SR1/US27 (MP 0.001) to 65ft+/- South of intersection with SR 1/US 27 (MP 3.401). The total project length is approximately 3.40 miles. All work would be completed within existing right of way.
The existing shoulders would be scarified to a depth of 4 inches with scarifier spacing of a 6 inch maximum. The existing earth shoulders would be reconstructed at variable depth as required to provide a smooth grade from the new edge of pavement elevation to the existing earth shoulders. The fill shall be placed over the scarified area without any additional work.
