Archaeological Assessment of two Butts County Railroad Grade Crossing Improvement Projects. The proposed projects would improve the existing railroad grade crossings in Butts County, Georgia by including the installation of train activated warning devices in the form of bells, lights, and gates at the following intersections:
SR 36/Covington Street@ the Norfolk Southern Railroad
SR 16/3R0 Street@ the Norfolk Southern Railroad
All work will take place within the existing right-of-way; no new right-of-way or easements will be required.
