Abstract

This is a bridge project, BRF-169-1(1), located in Dodge County. The bridges are on SR 117 and crosses Crooked Creek and Little Ocmulgee River. The existing structures measure as follows: one is 23.7 feet wide and 120 feet long while the other bridge measures 23.8 feet wide and 320 feet long. They are timber, concrete, and steel bridges. The existing ROW is 100 feet at Crooked Creek and is 200 feet at Little Ocmulgee River. The proposed project begins at Crooked Creek 500 feet south of the stream and ends 500 feet north of the stream. The project at Little Ocmulgee River begins 700 feet south of the river and ends 550 feet north of the river. The new structures measure as follows: the bridge at Crooked Creek will be replaced with a 4 to 10 feet by 6 foot bridge culvert and the bridge at Little Ocmulgee River will be replaced with a 320 foot long by 44 foot wide bridge.
