In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project CSSTP-0007-00(016), Gwinnett County, Georgia, has been surveyed with respect to archeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The purpose of the survey was to locate, identify, and evaluate the significance of any archeological resources within the proposed project's area of potential environmental effect. This project proposes to reconstruct the existing median crossover on SR 3 I 6 at Progress Center Ave. to meet Type B Median Crossover requirements. All construction will be completed on the inside median within the existing right-of-way, no new right-of-way is required. Total project length is 0.379 mile.
