Kristine Schenk started at the Laboratory in 2018 as a Laboratory Manager and transitioned into the role of Registrar and Collections Manager in 2024. Before joining the Laboratory, Kristine worked at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame and the Robert J. Dole Archive and Special Collections. Her educational background includes an MA in Museum Studies and Anthropology from the University of Kansas and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Florida. Prior to graduating, she interned at a variety of institutions including Fossil Butte National Monument, the New Hampshire Farm Museum, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.
