This is a bridge project, BRF-066-1(25), located in Twiggs County. The bridges are on SR 87 and one crosses Savage Creek while the other one crosses Flat Creek. The bridge at Site 1 is 160 feet long and 24 feet wide. The bridge at Site 2 is 300 feet long and 24 feet wide. Both bridges consist of timber piles and caps with steel beams and concrete decks. The established right-of-way is 100 feet. The proposed project will replace the existing bridges. At Site 1, the bridge will be replaced with a bridge that measures 200 feet long and 44 feet wide. At Site 2, the existing bridge will be replaced with a bridge that measures 340 feet long and 44 feet wide. The required right-of-way is 100 feet.
