McKenzie Bridge Road - Bridges and approaches over Little Tallapoosa River near Carrollton, Georgia. Replace existing 69' x 15' timber bridge with a 216' x 44' concrete bridge. The concrete bridge will be built on new location to provide safer approaches to the crossing. The old bridge will be removed upon completion of construction.
Place approximately 4528 cubic yards of fill material below the 100-year flood elevation covering approximately 0.861 acres. Fill material will be obtained from high land sources in the vicinity of the project. Erosion control will be grassing on shoulders and slopes and stone rip rap at bridge end rolls.
