Project BRS 1577 (5) Henry County consists of the replacement of the existing bridge and approaches over Tussahaw Creek on Peeksville Road. The new structure will be located in approximately the same location as the existing bridge. No existing or potential National Register Properties will be affected by the construct ion of this project. A survey has been conducted and found no pre-1940 structures in the project area. There are no known archaeological sites in the project area. No undisturbed land will be affected because the new structure will be located in approximately the same location as the existing bridge. The existing 81-foot x 14-foot steel and wooden bridge will be removed and a 160-foot x 30-foot concrete bridge will be constructed.
