This revised concept report for Project BRF-018-1(47) located in Paulding County is for the replacement of a narrow and structurally deficient bridge on SR 61 at Pumpkinvine Creek north of Dallas. The existing bridge is 23.9'x290' with timber piling and caps, two concrete piers, steel stringers and a concrete deck.
Approaches have 24' of pavement and 4 1 -6 1 shoulders. This revised concept report proposes a 44'x350' concrete bridge on new alignment approximately 70' east of existing bridge and utilizing the existing bridge and roadway as a detour during construction.
