Abstract

A cultural resources survey of 34 acres has been completed for the Forest Health South Thinning Project.  These stands were partially surveyed during the 2007 and 2013 timber sales which were combined into one sale. These additional acres are small pieces that were outside the original boundary. This survey recorded five new prehistoric sites and one isolated find. All are recommended as ineligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
