In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act a survey has been conducted for GDOT project BRS-0896(3), Hart County, with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). This survey included a surface inspection of the project corridor complemented by the placement of periodic sub-surface tests.
