Abstract

The proposed work consists of milling, patching, resurfacing, striping, raised pavement markers, and installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant wheelchair ramps (curb cuts) along a 2.540 (MP 3.74 - MP 6.28) mile section of SR 139/Riverdale Road from 1-285 to CS 7134/Best Road in Clayton County, Georgia (Figure 1). The project will take place within existing right-of-way (ROW) which varies throughout the project. The limits of construction will be five feet from the edge of pavement and all curb cuts will be located at the intersection of four locations including the on and off ramps on the north side of the bridge carrying SR 139 over 1-285, SR 139 at the Fayetteville Road bus stop, and SR 139 at Sullivan Road (Figure 2).
