The proposed project includes the sale of three parcels of land, totaling 91.35 acres (parcel 10R is 9.08 acres, parcel 11A is 44.37 acres, and parcel 11R is 37.9 acres), that are currently owned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). The parcels were acquired for the construction of the Rockmart Bypass, Project No. EDFR178-1(27). GDOT has received a request to sell the property referenced above and due to the property being over five acres, an environmental study and GEPA document are required.
