Abstract

Project’s purpose was to discharge approximately 3,500 cubic yards of highland-source fill material below the 100 year flood elevation covering approximately 0.5 acre. The discharge is incidental to a bridge replacement on State Route 15 (U.S. 441) crossing Crooked Creek 0.2 mile south of I-85 in Banks County.

Work authorized by the General Permit for an individual project may be suspended or the authorization for the project revoked, if the Secretary of the Army or his authorized representative determines that there has been a violation of the terms and conditions of the General Permit. In addition, failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the General Permit may also result in the removal of the structures or work, restora­tion of the waterway, and/or imposition of penalties as provided by law.
