Environmental Corporation of America’s (ECA) client, Mobilitie, LLC, is proposing to contruct a pole as described in the following FCC Form 620, New Tower (NT) Submission Packet. ECA understands that Mobilitie, LLC plans to replace an existing 30-foot tall wooden utility pole with a 43-foot tall wooden pole within a 10-foot by 10-foot (3-meter by 3-meter) area. Due to the nature of the project and the surrounding setting, visibility of the proposed pole would be minimal. Therefore, we have determined that the APE for visual effects should be redefined as being limited to the areas immediately surrounding the pole site, which would be approximately 500 feet (152 meters) from the site in all directions. Therefore, the proposed alternative visual APE would be 500 feet (152 meters). Photographs of the proposed site are included in Attachment B.
