Abstract

The proposed project would resurface the three-lane section from Broad St. to West First St. and would reconstruct the two-lane section from West First St. to end of project to consist of three, 12' lanes. The entire project would have curb and gutter with two through lanes and a center turn lane. The total project length is 0.25 mile. The purpose of this project is to widen and reconstruct Riverside Parkway from Broad St. to just south of Turner McCall Boulevard to better accommodate existing and future traffic volume. A finding of No Significant Adverse Effect is anticipated for the Oak Hill Cemetery. In the area of the resource, project implementation would consist of widening Riverside Dr. to include a center turn lane. Widening would take place on the opposite side of Riverside Dr. than the Oak Hill Cemetery is located.
