Archeological Assessment of a Barrow County Resurfacing Project. This project consists of the milling, patching, leveling, resurfacing, 2' shoulder paving, and permanent marking of SR 53 beginning from M.P. 9.78 and ending at M.P. 13.00. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required. Total project length is approximately 3.22 miles. The proposed maintenance project for CSSTP-M003-00(437) in Barrow County would include the milling, patching, leveling and resurfacing with permanent markings of S.R. 53 from S.R. 8 to the Oconee county line (MP 9.78 to MP 13.00). This project would also include the construction of 2-ft rural shoulders. All work would be completed within existing right-of-way. This project is twinned with CSSTP-M003-00(436) in Oconee County.
