1. On 20 May 1980 archeologists from the Environmental Compliance Section, Planning Division, Mobile District, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of a seven (7) acre tract leased to the U. S. Army for recreation purposes (Map A). Survey personnel were Dottie Gibbons and Jerry Nielsen. One small lithic scatter was located during the survey. Due to its disturbed nature, this cultural occurrence is not considered to be significant.
