This survey and assessment was initiated at the request of the applicant, Mr. Howard Gordon, Howard Development Company, via the Cobb County Planning Department. The request came as the result of a meeting between the applicant and Planning staff, held December 8, 1980.
The purpose of the survey was to comply with existing and proposed guidelines pursuant to 36 CFR 800, Executive Order 11593, et al., in this particular instance with reference to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Federal Insurance Administration. The survey was undertaken at cost of travel and report preparation as a service of Cobb County Planning Department and Cobb County Projects Control.
