Abstract

On August 15, 1981 an archaeological survey of a proposed water tank site in Shiloh, Georgia was conducted. A systematic surface and subsurface survey of the project area revealed that it had been used as an agricultural field sometime in the past. No evidence of prehistoric occupation or utilization of the project area was uncovered. There were no observed indications of any historic structures on or within the boundaries of the project area. All records for this project have been filed at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, West Georgia College.
