Abstract

This report documents an archaeological survey that was conducted on a 4.6 acre tract in Carroll County, Georgia proposed for construction of a 46/12 kV substation by Oglethorpe Power Corporation. The survey employed an initial surface inspection followed by shovel testing at 30 m intervals over the entire property. The study tract was found to have been disturbed by the planting of plantation pines, and no archaeological resources were present.
