Abstract

Original: The proposed improvements to SR 47 consist of the installation of 30-inch curb-and-gutter with five-foot sidewalks and pedestrian facilities. CS 514/Elam Heights would be realigned approximately 35 feet to the east to form a common point intersection with CS 514/Lillian Sims Avenue and the installation of 30-inch curb-and-gutter, five-foot sidewalks and pedestrian facilities. Improvements to CS 514/Lillian Sims Avenue would consist of the installation of 30-inch curb-and-gutter, five-foot sidewalks and pedestrian facilities and the construction of new 75-foot radii on both sides of the roadway. A total of approximately 1.17 acres of additional ROW would be required for the proposed project. The following changes have been made since the approved Categorical Exclusion: SR 47: Along the northern side of SR 47 to the west of Lillian Sims Avenue, there has been an increase in permanent easement. Along the southern side of SR 47 and to the west of Elam Heights, there has been a decrease in required right-of-way. Previous required right-of-way along SR 47 has been converted to easement along the north and south side of SR 47 east of Elam Heights/Lillian Sims Avenue. Lillian Sims Avenue: The project limits along Lillian Sims Avenue have increased an additional 250 feet to the north. Elam Heights: The project limit along Elam Heights has decreased by 285 feet with added right-of-way and easement.
