Project STP-001-6(26) proposes to widen US 41/SR 3 from Line Street to just south of SR 156 and multilane US 41/SR 3 from south of SR 156 to Mauldin Road (north end)/Defoor Loop. The existing road has a 2-lane urban section from Line Street to south of SR 156 and a 2-lane rural section north of SR 156 to Mauldin Road/Defoor Loop to have an urban section of 2 lanes in each direction, with a 20-foot raised median. This report is an addendum to Norwood and Andrews (2006) survey of the northern portion, Nelson Street to Mauldin Road/Defoor Loop, of Project STP-001-6(26). The addendum reports the survey of the southern portion of Project STP-001-6(26) from Line Street to Nelson Street. The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the proposed ROW. It is proposed that the existing 40-foot ROW between Line Street and SR 156 be expanded to 80 feet and that the existing 60-foot ROW from SR 156 to Mauldin Road/Defoor Loop be expanded to 140 feet.
