The project corridor runs along both sides of Peachtree Dunwoody Road and is approximately 4,200 feet (1.28 kilometers) in length. The study corridor begins at the intersection of the Glenridge Connector and ends at the intersection of the 1-285 overpass. The entire corridor passes though developed land. Several hospital complexes are adjacent to this section of Peachtree Dunwoody Road. The proposed undertaking will consist of improved sidewalks, crosswalks, and streetscape furniture within the existing right-of-way, except in those areas where the right-of-way borders the back of the existing sidewalk. In these areas, right-of-way acquisition will occur.
