Abstract

This project proposes to replace and relocate the existing bridge on SR 266 over the Georgia Southwestern Railroad, 2 miles west of the City of Cuthbert, Randolph County, Georgia. In addition, SR 266 itself will be relocated west of its present location, on new alignment, to correct a substandard intersection angle with SR 82. The new bridge will be 193' x 40' and will consist of 2-12' lanes with 10' rural shoulders (2' paved). The existing right of way on SR 266 is approximately 80', with an additional 100' to 175' of right-of-way required for this project. The total project length is approximately 0.44 mile.
