This GDOT Archaeological Report Short Form for Negative Findings covers the Phase I Archaeological Survey of the Old Norcross Road Corridor, Gwinnett County, Georgia conducted for Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc in November of 2005. The project description describes the Phase I intensive archaeological survey of an approximately 2.0 mile corridor located between the intersection of Old Norcross Road and Breckinridge Boulevard and Old Norcross Road and Herrington Road. Shovel test pit locations along the area of potential affected (APE) were investigated at a 100 feet (30 meter) interval. The APE is confined to the approximately 2.0 mile corridor described above and consisted of an area 20 feet (6 meter) from the pavement's edge. Both sides of Old Norcross Road were surveyed.
