Akers Mill Road is located in Cobb County, Georgia. The project corridor begins at Cumberland Blvd SE and ends at Camp Parkway. The project corridor crosses both US 41 and I-75. The project will enhance the pedestrian streetscape with a sidewalk and the addition of a multi-use path. The project will provide a 5'-8' wide sidewalk on the north side of Akers Mill and a 10'-12' wide multi-use trail on the south side of Akers Mill. The project will also include sidewalks, site furnishings, and landscaping in a small urban park at the south east corner of the intersection of Akers Mill and US 41.
