The proposed project was originally surveyed with concurrence received in 1996. Two alternate routes for a proposed bypass around an historic resource were surveyed with concurrence received in 2001 and 2002. Since that time, the proposed project for this unit segment (beginning at CR 233/Moye Rd. and ending at CR 525/Baker Church Rd.) has returned to the original alignment surveyed in 1995. The original project remains the same except for the following: an additional 50' of right-of-way is required on the east side of US 441. The total length of this segment of the project is 2.4 miles. No existing or eligible National Register resources were located within the project's area of potential environmental effect.
