Abstract

The proposed project would widen Lee Road from two-lanes to four-lanes with a raised median and turn lanes. The project would also include 12-foot roadway shoulders and sidewalks. The project would extend from SR 92 north to I-20 West and tie into the proposed Lee Road Bridge over I-20 widening/replacement project. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide the additional capacity needed to accommodate the projected number of trips that are likely to use this roadway facility for either local access or as a travel corridor between SR 92 and I-20. Area of Potential Effect: The APE for the project includes everything within the proposed construction project length and within the maximum extent of the existing and required right-of-way as described above.
