The project proposal calls for the improvement of Lee Road where it intersects with Interstate 20 (Figure 1). Lee Road will be widened, and a new loop from Vulcan Drive to Sweetwater Industrial Boulevard will be constructed. A portion of this area has already been surveyed with a previous New South Associates project. The current area surveyed has a total length of roughly 2,400 feet (731 meters). The interchange project is limited to the ROW on either side of Lee Road, extending 80 feet (24 meters) west and east of the road. The area to be surveyed south of Interstate 20 measures roughly 1,168 feet (356 meters), north of Interstate 20 measures 540 feet (165 meters), and the loop measures 700 feet (213 meters). The project has a total length of 2,408 feet (734 meters), and width of 160 feet (49 meters).
