The project proposal calls for the improvement of Lee Road where it intersects with Interstate 20 (Figure 1). Lee Road will be widened, and a new loop from Vulcan Drive to Sweetwater Industrial Boulevard will be constructed.

This project investigated two transects along the CR 183/Plantation Road Bridge over Coldwater Creek in Elbert County, north of Elberton. The Georgia Department of Transportation plans on replacing the current bridge.
